Born A Crime - Book Rant

"I had tears in my eyes. From laughing. And from the scenes that take you into the most empathetic place, you can go as a reader.

Trevor Noah is a hero in a sense, and just another man having lived through what a lot of other people from South Africa go through. I came to see the world through a lens that I didn't have in my box of different reading lenses before. And by the end of it, I emerged with respect, awe and a lot more understanding for everything that he and so many others have gone through, something that I wasn't very aware of (I admit, quite honestly there). I am glad I picked this book. I am glad I picked it because as a reader, it was stimulating, the proof lies in me finishing the book in a day (I FLEW through it). I am glad I picked this book as a human being, it has humbled me more than any other book ever has and I am grateful that this book was put out into the universe. Thank you Trevor Noah for giving us a part of your life. I am grateful.
